Scientific Games ranks as Greece’s top tech workplace

Scientific Games has been recognised as Greece’s best technology workplace, having ranked fifth on the ‘Hellas – Great Place to Work’ corporate employment index.

The Nasdaq technology group jumped-up two spots on the Hellas 2021 employment index, registering as Greek tech’s highest-ranking incumbent.

The ‘Great Place to Work index is published annually by the Hellas business institute, recognising the companies which benefit Greece’s employment and economic development.

Since 2015, Athens has served as the operational and technology development hub of SG Digital, the technology group’s igaming unit formed from its acquisition of OpenBet systems.

Following the expansion of SG Digital, Scientific Games announced in 2017 that it would double investment in its Athens offices, developing a further engineering unit to support its product development capabilities.

“We are delighted to see our hard work at Scientific Games reflected in this latest recognition while we keep growing our footprint in Athens year on year,” said Nikos Konstakis, SG Digital Athens Managing Director and VP Sportsbook.

“Our entire team is committed to innovating and leading in the online sports betting and gaming sector. Their dedication continues to ensure our success and powers our customers’ success as well.”
