Parimatch Tech has confirmed that Dmitry Sergeev will take charge of its Eastern European facing operations, with responsibility for coordinating the firm’s growth strategy in the wider region.
Sergeev will lead Parimatch Tech’s franchise implementation in the area in the role of Head of Parimatch Eastern Europe for Parimatch Russia as the franchise prepares to separate from Parimatch CIS to operate independently in the new year. 
The former CEO of Parimatch CIS, Sergeev will implement an expansion plan across Eastern Europe markets for Parimatch Tech – which rebranded from its initial corporate identity of Parimatch earlier this year – based on the acquisition of local betting licences following the planned separation.

In his role as CEO of Parimatch CIS, Sergeev oversaw ‘exponential growth’ across the brand’s core markets in addition to a tripling of its active player base across the region, whilst his additional industry experience has seen him work across marketing, business development and commercial growth, having founded major Russia-facing enterprise Championat in 2005.
Furthermore, the new Eastern Europe head previously served as CEO for Bwin Russia between 2016 and 2019, where he played a ‘crucial role’ in establishing the economy as the first international betting company in the domestic Russian space.
No additional structural organisations of the Ukraine-based company’s Russia-facing arm ‘are expected to be announced’, although the company has detailed that it will reveal further plans for the Eastern European markets in 2022.
Meanwhile, Sergeev’s previous position as CEO of Parimatch CIS will be transferred to Yulia Leskova, who was appointed based on her ‘track record of consistent outstanding quarterly growth’ as Deputy CEO of Parimatch Belarus during a nearly decade-long tenure at the firm.
