Celebrating its 4th Birthday, popular blockchain-based online video game, Axie Infinity has just surpassed $4 billion in all-time non-fungible token (NFT) sales.
The play-to-earn (P2E) game by Vietnamese software studio Sky Mavis firmly sits on the third spot of largest NFT projects in terms of all-time sales, just behind LooksRare and OpenSea,
The Ethereum based game has been surging during the last 12 months, mainly driven by its popularity in Southeast Asia. In that time, the game’s native token AXS has jumped by 2,544% against the U.S. dollar.
As data from DappRadar shows, the average Axie Infinity trade is done at $198.77 with 1,905,222 active traders, according to lifetime statistics.
