Although prices of NFT continue to tumble, play-to-earn NFT and role playing crypto games continue its popularity with the workforce entering the metaverse and people trying to make a living out of it.
A recent survey conducted in the Philippines by NFT Gaming platform Balthazar, found that 32 percent of the Filipino respondents said they would quit or consider quitting their daytime jobs if they would earn enough from NFT gaming.
The 1,103 respondents who are largely from the Philippines includes both existing NFT P2E gamers and those who do not.
To be able to go all-in on NFT gaming, over two-thirds (65%) of respondents said they would at least have to earn US$42 a month on average to consider quitting their job to play NFT games full-time. More than half of those said they would need to earn between US$1 and US$20 per day to afford to quit their current job to play.
The results also show that 52% of the gamers have used their earnings for basic necessities and personal needs such as food, housing and bills.

John Stefanidis, CEO of Balthazar commented:
