Tulum Crypto Fest (TCF) will kick off its first-ever crypto festival on May 13 to 15, 2022, held at one of Tulum’s most renowned venues, Papaya Playa Project. TCF is where nature meets technology, connecting the physical, digital and spiritual worlds of Tulum — an epicenter of the crypto and remote-working communities in Latin America.
The festival will be composed of high-profile individuals, sponsors and partners, media and organizations introducing guests to the high-vibe lifestyle of Tulum over three days of content, wellness and nightlife activations.
The keynote speaker will be Pablo Gonzalez, Founder of Bitso, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Latin America. With over 20 speakers, other topics include proptech, real-estate tokenization and smart contracts, NFT ticketing and crypto payments, crypto in the new era of media, women in crypto, crypto for kids, understanding our carbon footprint with Web3 technology and much more.
The weekend will open with welcome cocktails on Thursday evening at Downtown Tulum. Friday and Saturday will feature two nontraditional conference days of various stages including a Crypto School for beginners, a main stage with international speakers, and an NFT art walk and specialized artists presented by Feel the Fruit. Tulum culture will be featured through a traditional Mayan opening ceremony, and the days will also consist of panel discussions, fireside chats, DJs, local cuisine and networking.
Hosted by Papaya Playa Project and cocooned by the jungle on a pristine stretch of the Caribbean, this is a communal playground for the creative community that allows one to reconnect to nature with an urban spirit. Saturday will close with Papaya Play’s infamous and experiential Full Moon Celebration.
On Sunday, guests can decompress with a full day of wellness at Vesica, with the opportunity to get to know the community and continue networking. The festival will formally close with a party at the cenote.
Three-day General Admission and VIP passes are available, as well as single-day and local tickets, custom sponsorship packages and vendor booths. All are welcome, including families.
Presented by Tulum Crypto Club, Coworking Tulum and Like Group, the festival will present itself as the perfect networking opportunity for people and businesses interested in, or already part of, the cryptocurrency space. The goal is to educate and inspire through storytelling about how these technologies are integrating into our everyday lives — whether that be in the city or on the beach.
The festival will be joined by other members of the community, such as the Bardo Hotel in the jungle of Tulum, which will welcome crypto fans wishing to connect with this new reality.
