William Hill Joins Racing League as Official Betting Partner

Racing League has confirmed William Hill as official betting partner for this year’s race held August 4.

In 2022, teams of horse trainers and jockeys from seven regions in the UK and Ireland will compete in six races in Doncaster on Thursday 4 August. Over £2,000,000 of prize money is up for grabs across a total of 42 matches, with teams earning points for their final position in each match.

Just as in 2021, the best teams and jockeys with the most points in the racing league will be rewarded. Official betting partner William Hill has the East End as the overall favorite at British odds of 5/2, while Daniel Muscutt, who represents London and South End, has an 8/1 chance of being a top jockey.

“The innovative and unique concept of Racing League has always appealed to us at William Hill and, with the planned changes to the 2022 format, we’re really excited to be involved in Racing League once again”, Liam McKee, Director of Media, Sponsorship and UK Creative at William Hill, said.

Jeremy Wray, CEO of Racing League, added:

“We took in a huge amount of feedback following the inaugural running of Racing League in 2021, and have been keen to add a number of innovations into this year’s competition.

Wray also looked ahead at the high level of competition that is awaiting bettors this year, noting:

“125 trainers have signed up to take part, in regional teams this year, which we hope will create a competition that is equally as compelling for racing fans and punters. William Hill are, of course, well known and long time supporters of racing in this country, and we are delighted to welcome them back to Racing League. We look forward to working together in promoting both their brand, as well as our competition to racing fans and their customer base alike.”
