Meta Rolls Out Instagram NFT Integration for 100 Countries

Social media giant Meta has started rolling out non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in 100 countries after integrating with Coinbase wallet and Dapper.

Details of the launch were elaborated on in a Meta Newsroom post.

Instagram users in certain countries can now showcase their NFTs after a beta phase was successfully concluded in May.

According to a Meta tweet, the social media platform will support NFTs minted on the Ethereum, Polygon and Flow blockchain.

All that Instagram users will have to do is connect their social media account with a digital wallet, such as Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet and Dapper Wallet which are integrated as of Thursday or coming soon.

Testing of NFTs on Facebook is also underway, Meta Product Manager Navdeep Singh said last month, aiming to enable cross-platform publishing via NFTs.
