After four years of dedicated service to Gambling with Lives, Will Prochaska is leaving to operate as an independent advisor on gambling harm initiatives, a move reflecting his continued commitment to tackling the harm caused by the gambling industry. He will start his new work in February.

Will has played a central role in shaping Gambling with Lives’ long-term vision and executing strategies to change the narrative around gambling harms and reform the gambling industry, particularly leading up to and following the Government’s Gambling Act Review White Paper this year.

Throughout his time at Gambling with Lives Will has helped bereaved families to have their voices heard. His passionate approach and ability to navigate complex issues have positioned him as a respected figure across the broader advocacy community.

“It has been a privilege to work with such a passionate and dedicated team at Gambling with Lives. Together we’ve made significant strides in raising awareness about gambling harm and reigning in an out-of-control gambling industry. I look forward to continuing to support the charity’s work,” Will Prochaska said.

“While we’re sad to see Will go, we’re happy he’s staying in this space, and continuing to advocate for gambling reform. Will has helped us make Gambling with Lives what it is today, his impact has been immeasurable, and we are incredibly grateful for the strategic vision, passion and expertise he brought to his role. We wish him all the success in the future and look forward to continuing to collaborate with him,” Charles Ritchie, co-chair of Gambling with Lives, said.
