Shaman’s Dream is a Native American-themed slot from Eyecon. Available on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, it’s a 5 reel, 25 reel game that features wild wins that are doubled plus a free spins feature where all payouts are trebled. Stakes start at 25p rising to £12.50 per spin.

We’ve often been a little underwhelmed by the design of slots from Eyecon but Shaman’s Dream is one of the developer’s better efforts – a wilderness scene forms the backdrop to the reels which are flanked by the feathers from a chieftain’s headdress.

There are 12 symbols in all, each of which relates to the theme. Look out for totems, necklaces, axes, and bears which award up to 4 times your stake per payline. Next come the knife pouch and wigwam which pay up to 5 times your stake, the white buffalo, and eagle which pay up to 10 times your stake and the woman who pays up to 19 times your stake. The 2 most lucrative standard symbols are the tribe chief and warrior, both of whom pay up to 38 times your stake per payline.

The white wolf is the game’s wild. It replaces everything apart from the dreamcatcher scatter – land 5 wilds and you’ll pocket 380 times your stake! If the wild forms part of a winning combination alongside a standard symbol, that payout is doubled.

Shaman’s Dream comes with a Free Games feature – to trigger it, you’ll need to land at least 3 of the dreamcatcher scatter. As well as a cash bonus equal to 5, 20 or 450 times your total stake, you’ll also receive 15 free spins. All payouts during the free spins are boosted by a 3x multiplier and trebled. Re-triggers are possible here too with up to 240 free spins available.

This slot isn’t as filled with features as some others in the Eyecon catalog. We’ve enjoyed the developers pick’em and match and the win bonuses but you’ll just have to settle for free spins here. That’s okay though and the feature is a good one thanks to the 3x multiplier.

Design-wise, this is pretty impressive for an Eyecon slot. Sure, we’d have liked to have seen a little more on the extras front. Shaman’s Dream a still a very playable effort though and well worth a look if you’re a fan of the Native American theme.
